Star Wars Tickets

Opening day for a movie in Los Angeles is one of the few times I can say “living in L.A. is the coolest thing” without anyone rebutting by bringing up earthquakes, fires, riots, gangs, actors or smog. Case in point, Start Wars Episode III. I just bought 6 tickets. Not sure who I’m going with other than my wife, but I’m sure it won’t be hard to find 4 more victims to join us.

This will be the first Star Wars movie I haven’t seen the first showing in my town. Well, except A New Hope the first time through, but I was 3.

I hope it makes up for the last two. Will Jar Jar die? :)

Yes, Jar-jar does dies by the hand of Yoda “screw up the first two movies you did!”

Take down your ticket. I got your ticket confirmation # from the barcode…. which means I could print and use if I felt so inclined ;-)

I’m with Melvin. Wouldn’t say I loved Ep II, but I can’t shake the feeling that I ‘kinda liked it’… how’s that for a back-handed review?

I’ve about had it with Hayden Christiansen’s sulking, whining Anakin, though.
Tell me again, Mr. Lucas, why Amidala falls in love with him??

I really haven’t been pulled into the buzz machine on this episode. Sure I was kind of stoked for the last two when they came out, but now I’m kind of wishing that Lucas would find another dead horse to flog.

Hopefully this prequel nonsense will end here.

Hey Melvin, get this, my girlfriend turns to me today and asks “when are we going to see episode three?” and I replied “What, you want to see episode three?!” yeah she says “I just want to see it - don’t ask me why, I just do.” Who would have thunk?
