Back in NY, but do I love LA?
Posted on Wednesday, June 1st, 2005 at 8:15 pm under Personal.I took the 10:00am Greyhound bus to NY from DC this morning. I could have taken the Peter Pan bus which are newer and show a movie during the trip. But, I missed it and the next one was in two hours. So Greyhound it was. I can’t complain though, it was only $20. I got some work done until my powerbook battery said “no más” and I spent the remaining part of the trip finding a comfortable position to sleep on without waking up to a cramped neck.
On my way to my sister’s apartment from the Greyhound station I encountered this street sign that said “LOVE LA” and I was confused. I’m I supposed to ask myself, do I love LA? or is it commanding me to LOVE LA! as in get your ass back to LA and stop daydreaming about living here in NY.
My sister and I walked the Brooklyn Bridge on our way home from some killer grub in Chinatown
This is the money shot. I have the sun glare right at sunset and it seems there’s no one else in the bridge but me.

I think the sign was asking..what’s there to love in La? Think about it!
