My Portfolio Site and NY

This week I finally got around to developing my portfolio site at melvinrivera.org. As you may notice from the introduction message, we’re moving to New York in the coming months. This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while. And after a 10 day trip for me, and a 5 week trip for my wife and kid, we decided we just love that city too much to not live in it. For us this means selling our house, finding a tinny apartment in NY and getting a job to go with it. Hence my portfolio online. If you are in NY or have possible job contacts there, give me a shout out. I’m looking for a new place to call home.

What has happened to the rss-feed? Doesn’t seem to work.

looking at your work, you should get in touch with Indika. But you probably already know that.

Looks good!
Grey writing on black background though, very hard to read.

I like the look of your portfolio site, but jsut one issue. The body copy is too dark. It needs to be much lighter as I found it very hard to read on my iBook. Now it could be becasue I am sat on the sofa with a big window behind me and a little bit of dust on my screen, but you can never account for where someone will be reading your site.

Beautiful site. I agree with the font color issue. Very classy!

Like the new site. Clean and simple. Good luck with the job hunting. I have never been to NY and I need to go. God speed.
